About us

Melee Creative is a worker-owned political marketing business based in Wild Rose, Wisconsin.

We offer printing, branding, design and marketing services for progressive campaigns and organizations with the express goal of getting Democrats elected up and down the ballot. We’re fierce champions for candidates and organizations giving a voice to workers and marginalized folks in Wisconsin and around the country.

Our cooperative was formed in 2024 to establish a loud and proud leftist presence in the heart of our swing state amid an historic election year.

Our home base, a central Wisconsin print shop, was a family-owned business for 45 years before the previous owners retired. Our creative director, Stefan, had been working in politics, and buying the shop in 2023 gave us the opportunity to not only keep a local service from going out of business but also expand on his offerings for political marketing.

We reorganized the business as a worker-owned cooperative in January 2024 to hold ourselves accountable to worker empowerment and create opportunities for skilled and meaningful work for fair pay in an aging and low-income area of our state.
